The requirements to open a corporate account in Panama are the following;
1. Most of the banks in Panama require a personal interview to the signatories of the account, while other banks allow the process by distance, as long as the nature of the commercial activities and the amounts transferred are permit.
2. Two (2) bank references letters for each signatory of the account.
3. Two (2) commercial references letters for each signatory of the account.
4. Two (2) personal references letters for each signatory of the account.
5. Copy of the signatory passport and second Id. (If the directors are appointed by the client, also copy of the Directors passport and second id). In case the proceeding is done by distance all documents must be duly authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate or with apostille).
6. An initial cash deposit of US$1,000.00.
