Special Visas

1. Temporary Residence Visa as an Independent Retired ( Immediate Panama Passport Program).

This Visa is applicable to foreigners that enter the country and can prove yielding a minimum monthly income of US$ 750.00 originating from the interested product of a fixed deposit carried out in the National Bank of Panama (Banco Nacional de Panama) which should be free of obligations or guarantees.
This Visa is granted for a five (5) year period and may be extended.
Advantages

- Applicants for this Visa may introduce their spouses and children as dependents.


- By obtaining this Visa you get a "Special Panamanian Passport" with which you may enter and leave the country with out a Multiple Return Visa.


- You may perform any type of investment.

Requirements

- Power and Request by an attorney.

- A Medical Certificate of Good Health, where it status that the interested party does not suffer from any mental or contagious diseases, issued within the three (3) months prior to it presentation. (Must have be sealed and signed with the code and medical registry number).

- Criminal Record issued in the last place of residence (2 years), properly authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate.

- Four (4) carnet sized photographs

- Certification from “Banco Nacional de Panama” (National Bank of Panama) confirming that petitioner earns an income of Seven Hundred and Fifty dollars (B/.750.00) in monthly interest, that proceed exclusively from a five year period Time Deposit, mortgage free or that is not used as a collateral.

- Photocopy of the Time Deposit certificate or contract duly authenticated by “Banco Nacional de Panamá” (National Bank of Panamá).

- Photocopies of all of the pages of the Passport.

- An additional copy of all of the accrediting documents, except the Passport.

- Marriage and Birth Certificates of any dependent children, properly authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate ( In case of dependents).

- A letter of responsibility ( In case of dependents) . Model provided by Delvalle & Delvalle.

- Sworn Statement on Personal Background. (Form provided by the Migration Department).

2. Pensioned Tourist

Foreigners that are retired from foreign governments, official entities, international agencies, private companies based abroad or retired from private activities and wish to return to the country are applicable for this Visa.

Advantages

a. You obtain immediately your permanent residency.


b. One time total Tariff Franchise on domestic or personal items, up to Ten Thousand dollars (US$10,000.00).


c. Total Tariff Franchise on import of a vehicle for personal or family use every two years.

Requirements

- Power and Request by an attorney.

- A Medical Certificate of Good Health, where it status that the interested party does not suffer from any mental or contagious diseases, issued within the three (3) months prior to it presentation. (Must have be sealed and signed with the code and medical registry number).

- Photocopy of all of the pages of the Passport.

- Four (4) carnet sized photographs.

- Original Passport, valid for at least six (6) Months

- Criminal Record issued in the last place of residence for the past two (2) years, properly authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate.

- An authenticated document that states the following:

- Your condition as a pensioned or retired by Foreign Government, International Agencies or Private Businesses.

- That the applicant receives a monthly retirement payment or pension of no less than Five Hundred (US$500.00) or its equivalent value in foreign currency, plus One Hundred USD (US$100.00) for every dependent.

- If the applicant is retired from a private company, he/she must present a document from the corresponding authority, proving the existence of said retirement and a pay stub of the pension.

- If it is in foreign currency, there must be a note from the National Bank of Panama (Banco Nacional de Panama), where it certifies its equivalent in US Dollars.

- Marriage and Birth Certificates of any dependent children properly authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate (In case of dependents).

- A letter of responsibility (In case of dependents) Model provided by Delvalle & Delvalle.

- Sworn Statement on Personal Background (Form provided by the Migration Department).
