Authorized Visas

There are some nationalities that require an Authorized Entry Visa which must be approved by the National Security Council together with the Immigration Department in order to enter Panama. Once the visa has been approved by the Immigration Department in Panama, the interested party contacts the local Panamanian Consulate in order to get the visa stamp on their passport.. If the petitioner is a citizen in any of the countries listed below which requires an authorized visa, their entry permit is subject to the outcome of their immigration paperwork.
